Job's mid-life crisis

Am in the middle of my usual day... contemplating my future. Heard rumors that after release 7 contractors are going to get canned. Time for me to get something more stable and something which I was trained in.

Time to flex some networking muscles which I have somewhat developed and make use of it. Need to figure out my long term goals also...

Besides that... well things are mundane as usual.

Need more motivation

Ugghh... still haven't fully unpacked from my trip. I need to get myself moving. Also prob need to move on to another job. Something more stable... something which I was trained in.

Anyway, nothing much happening. Leaves are once again turning color as another Fall season approaches.

Looks pretty... gotta get out more and enjoy things around me and not be so hermit like.

2 month haitus to Richardson, Texas AT&T

Wow after a 2 month assignment and $8k poorer, I'm back in Maryland Heights. It's good to be home, though I do miss the Triage team which I trained to do initial investigation for the OMS software by Amdocs.

Why Richardson Texas? Well because AT&T is there. Within that area there's Nortel and Verizon also and a huge AT&T building. Can't miss it if you're on Hwy 75. (2600 N Central Expressway). They even installed a new lighted AT&T sign so that if you're southbound on Hwy 75 you can see it's their building.

Hmm yeah worked like crazy.. filed 73.5 hrs the first week because of poor organization and each and all of us worked 12 hrs daily and many 16++ hrs.

To a certain degree I guess I felt kind of honored (for the first time in Amdocs) because they (not all of them only a smaller group) finally recognized that I had some talent and knack of doing some much needed help related to initial investigation for issues related to the ordering application software.

No offense to the people in Dallas, but the traffic is horrible and your drivers drive way to fast and tailgate.

Went to the 6th Floor Dealy Plaza Museum... quite sad to read the events of the assassination of JFK.

While I was there I found a small comfort zone... a chinese grocery place. Ohh yeah! And it's Aug Sept so I also found mooncake for sale. So I am guilty of sharing a small bit of chinese culture with the other folks in the triage team. There was pearl tea also.

Overall I still didn't like the idea of me spending my $8k and then only after jumping through 2 hoops I get my reimbursement. Even got fined for over limit spending. Anyway I hope I get my reimbursement soon.

I hope also my pay raise comes soon. Stupid staffing companies. Can't live with them and can't live without them. Possibly the true culprits of the H1b visa abuse.

Besides that, well things are somewhat back to normal. Restarted my life here in Maryland Heights. I actually turned off my refridgerator (why waste power on running the fridge if I am not going to be home for 2 weeks at a time?) and turned off the air conditioning. Not that I normally use them, only to cool off or heat the house just enough and then I would turn it off already.

So sad that my rose plant had died, but I guess one less thing for me to take care of.

I can't wait for winter to come. I think I am a winter person, I like the cold weather, fall leaves and snow. The only bad thing is if it gets dangerous while driving and having a dead car battery. That really sucks.

A bunch of my friends this year have been getting married. Maybe it's the wedding blues time.

Sometimes it's good when you know the law, however when you act arrogant and defy orders, you are just asking for it.

It just shows a blatant disregard for the law and orders plus poor implementation / enforcement of orders. CDC should have their no fly list and stop people like these from flying if they already knew and had a case file on him.

He on the other hand purposefully took a Czech Airlines flight into Canada to sneak back into the US.

Childish Malaysian politics

Malaysian politics is almost like Taiwanese politics, nothing against Taiwanese people and their politics, but just making a possible similarity.

There's a reason why there are stock yards and slaughter houses is to perform these sacrifices and slaughters.

Dim Sum and a matter of opinion

Life's good... the same slogan which LG electronics is using. I went for a nice good large Dim Sum treat on Saturday @ Hunan restaurant off of Page Ave. They are good!

Authentic and push cart dim sum. Cantonese and Mandrin friendly. Ok enough, sounds liek I'm promoting for them. Loh mai kai, Charsiew pau, Singapore noodle, tau fu fah, chee cheong fun, har gow, and siew mai... all in a good day's brunch. It did however burn a hole in my pocket.

Sometimes, there's only so much that you can hold yourself back when someone gives some opinion which you start loathing them... but of course I won't bow down and let that affect me... too much.

This stupid ass guy, old burnt out ugly looking database administrator thinks he's so great, but honestly I think he's a bigger loser. I now know to distant myself from him because he thinks that just because he's established himself here, he thinks he's so great. What a loser. Of course I'm no exception, but I wouldn't want to take shit from a low life like this. Why he comes up in this segment is because I recommended this restaurant for good dim sum.

I guess I never knew his true nature until he showed it saying that long distant relationship are crap. Fine I respect his point of view but as the saying goes, if you don't have anything nice to say, just shut up. Sometimes people just don't understand that you have no right to extend or imply your customs and tradition onto others. Anyway, he's a stupid ugly clueless guy. Even dyed his hair light brown.

Newsflash: asian people who dye their hairs are super fugly. Please take note. You will indeed look like a clown. Accept your distinguish ways gracefully and don't try to feign it.

Anyways, besides that nothing exciting happening. Just the same old stuff. All the more reason why I have to make sure I achieve financial success so that I can, to a certain degree distinguish myself from these stupid losers.

Ok I have been seeing the advertisements about zwinky... dress up and choose who you want to be... my opinion: in the closet cross dressers or perverts who want to be acting and fraternizing with the sex which they are not, acting out who they are not and just older guys with either nothing better to do else pedophiles who are out to get young girls who use the site to play dress up.

Plus, hmmm isn't it a little too young to start the girls with all these hyped up fashion, the "it" girl and bling bling?

Tried Yoga (not as easy as you think it is)

Ok so here I am in beautiful Toronto, Ontario Canada... the traffic, pedestrians, and infrastructure suck though.

Anyway I am here visiting my girlfriend and so I attended so far 2 yoga classes taught by an Indian lady. She's really good. I am still somewhat sore and stiff necked from all of the classes and I feel that if you do it as much as you can, it is a really good stretching exercise and will make you sweat.

Before I enter in more text, no I didn't smoke a joint or anything (drugs are for pathetic losers) and I am no "Gen Y hippie" who's digging into East / South Asian culture etc like the Beatles.

For me I know that if I exert myself I break a sweat quite easily. Anyway, it's not easy, if you do it the first few times. In fact I was pleasantly surprised at many of the positions which was demonstrated as they were almost exactly as what our dear old Malaysian comic and cartoonist "Lat" had illustrated about him trying out Yoga.

With that said, well Toronto is not too bad a place to live, although the winters may be harsh and summers can possibly get very very hot. Well, I think that isn't too different compared to St. Louis, Missouri where there is the continental effect.

Food here is great. Lots of Japanese and Thai, plenty of local Pizza Pizza and Mr. Sub chains. Need to try those two. Will try to hit the Hare Krishna buffet before I leave from Toronto to head back to St. Louis; I know I've tried the one in Downtown St. Louis Vanderventer Ave ISKCONN and I would assume about the same types of vegetarian foods.

Had a $11.99 Sushi buffet... it was great... weekends only. Although it's a buffet, it's freshly prepared like ala carte per penciled in order, but it was made as you ordered... so you can say freshly made buffet... no mass production pre-rolled sushi etc.

Movies watched so far Shrek the Third, Spiderman 3. Another 2 more upcoming would be Ocean's 13 and Hostel 2 buaahahaha!

Nothing much...

Pretty much that... it's good to be in communication again with a good old friend Suk Hui. Kinda lost contact and then serendipity and had a very pleasant reunion. I would almost say things haven't changed too much between us... probably more matured and being in the same 27/28 age group mode.

Why we should not donate to Police Charities

Sometimes of course we get complaints from people who are law abiding citizens who get pulled over for speeding and other minor traffic offenses. Well I fall in that category this time around. Recently I got a frekin' ticket for not signaling to turn left at a turn left only junction with traffic light.

I would say, SCREW YOU Maryland Heights police. I hope you get shot up by some real criminals. I have ZERO accidents while I've been here in Maryland Heights and surrounding general areas and I always signal to indicate where I want to go. There are more Illinois and Missouri drivers who change lanes dangerously, change 2 lanes concurrently who do not signal; so like what the other law abiding citizens, I say GO CATCH A REAL CRIMINAL and don't bug us who have never committed a felony crime in our life and who always drive at speed limits.

Why I feel that this ticket which I was issued for not signaling left is unjustified is because, DUHH! It's a left turn only lane! If I had been in that lane and driven straight or tired to cut back into the right, straight going lane then fine; but I'm freaking turning left on a left turn only lane Hello! GO catch some of those Marijuana and Meth carrying cars, don't catch me.

Anyway with that said, in future if any of those police veteran groups calls me on my home phone, asking for donation, you are sooo out of luck.

By the way, people are fickle minded and move with the tide... when a police officer gets hit or killed we all mourn, and then when we get police brutality, the people frown upon them and go against them. So whatever!!!!

Yeah been single for almost 2 weeks now. Ah well... she was the one getting nasty and just stopped communicating with me. The reason? Well she's claiming that her picture is not in the yahoo photo album. Yeah it's childish that we're "hiding" our relationship... at least for me my parents already confronted me bout her and the cat is out of the bag... but she has not told her parents yet, and she wants to get into a petty fight which leads to an abrupt break up because of this small minuscule thing? Ah well shit happens. Now I'll either opt to be a one man island... else maybe I'll find someone new... hmmm American girls... which flavour... blonde, brunette or red head (where the term fung mau kui is really meant to be).

Other than that, well some stuff I've always wanted to get off my chest: Christina Aguilera used to be clean and nice... now she looks like a slut whore with piercings everywhere, kinda looks chubby also.

Britney Spears also... the ever changing mysterious breast size and quite very slutty, kissing Madonna & all "menjolok mata" in her video Toxic. Hey then again you need someone to do it right?

Well, that's some cheer for my dull and mundane life. A little cheer for my sad social state... nah not good to mourn for too long... need to hold steadfast and move on. Was thinking about an all out blasting about my recent break up... yeah I know you guys and girl would say aww come on man.. enough of your moping and immaturity about spilled milk. However I think the main thing to let go and move on is indeed to let this issue go to rest... after I make my stand.

Why the hell should I be the one who always puts the fire out in my relationship. It takes two to tango. I have in the past:

1) Sent her small care packages to remind her that she's special to me
2) Called her every weekend without fail
3) Bought for her a webcam (which she broke) and a microphone so that we can save a little in our long distance communication
4) Given so much and not expect too much in return
5) Flown to her in Canada just to see her... air fair is not cheap y'know, and neither is the freaking visitor's visa

My main regret is the amount of time and effort I have put in to the relationship and for her to just blow me off. Relationship is not about money (of course we have heard of many high profile cases where money is everything, but this is not the point). But I will say for the record the amount of money I spent to pamper you. Now I know why sometimes guys don't give their all in a relationship... makes the breakup less painful. Once bitten twice shy. Chinese proverb: A man who has been bitten by a snake will fear a rope for 3 years. Well more than three years.

I wont be immature and post nude pictures and shit like that, I am beyond that, over that and way more matured and emotionally stable than her. OK I do admit that we kept our relationship a secret, and that was childish... I admit it. But then just this year April I got busted by my family as they confronted me about me and her being in a relationship and I kind of confessed.
Now she has never told her family about me.

Why I am dancing around all of this is because, the main reason she broke up with me was due to me not having her picture in my "Old New Orleans Rental" photo album in Yahoo. OK if she wanted to keep our relationship a secret from her parents, like duhh I think it would be prudent that I did not put her picture there... might be a tell tale sign. And also just because there was the picture of the stupid China girl whom we triumphantly threw out from the house was there, you want to get all crazy about it again? What the Hell is wrong with you??? I feel most betrayed because we were talking just fine as a loving couple for one moment and then the next while you were viewing my picture album and you start getting hostile and break up with me?

For God's sake woman... I just came back from New Orleans... I was going to get our cat back from the pet inn / kennel and you do this shit... emotional breakdown and going ballistic on me. Don't you even understand the commitment I had in the relationship? I have been taking care of Bambi since 2004, I have given you so many things and even my love and all you do is spit at me online and tell me "Enjoy your loser like life".

You know very well that it will be just a while more before we can be together forever and possibly spend out lives together... due to our immigration status... and you want to flush all that 3 years down the drain. Now I understand more and more why so many guys treat girls like dirt... it is because of petty things like this, and the fact that you are not helping to maintain the relationship... is why men who have been burnt in a relationship treat women like whores... because they know probably when the relationship goes sour, that's when everything goes down the shit hole.

Another thing I regret is that I did not say something nasty to you also after you asked me to enjoy my loser like life. At least I can take the slight childish satisfaction that I deleted my yahoo profile which we use privately for our relationship. Which reminds me I think the time is ripe for me to stop waiting for you to see if you want to salvage this relationship of ours, and delete you from my other yahoo profiles. I know you probably still log into Yahoo but this time you need to help work the relationship... you need to step up and try to put the fires out. There is only so much that I can tolerate from your emotion... and there is only so much that I can tango alone.

What I wish right now is for me to tell you... as an acquaintance... not even as a friend, because of the way you ended things... is this: Grow up, don't be so self centered, it takes two to tango, it takes a lot of tolerance and understanding to make relationships work. Don't bitch over small petty things... and if you do you will end up as a spinster and then end up asking yourself... "why me?" What have I done that all my previous BF's either fought with me or I just tossed them aside and dumped them? Yes I am your BF #4... sad but true, the longest amongst all BF's because I was there... but how wrong I was to tango alone trying to make ends of our relationship work.

Anyway I think I feel worse and better. Buaahahaha! I now need to start working on a book about coping on breakups. Lots of books on marriage and relationship upkeep... none have I seen on managing break up. Lets put my psychology and writing ability to test shall we? :D Anyway if you are reading this... which I highly doubt, I know that you would get even more "angry" etc etc... but let me tell you this... if you think back of the things I listed above, without prejudice or anger, you will see how wrong you were and how much you broke my heart. Anyway what is done is done. Have a nice life, be it a loser one or whatever.

I think bend it like Beckham is probably the stupidest ripoff titled movie... well especially for football (soccer... not American football) fans. He only briefly appears (like what 10 seconds?) in the end of the movie. I am not a soccer fan... I know I watched it some time back. Overall I think it's a good movie tough for those of you who like independent type movies, and stories based on immigrants / 2nd - 3rd generation families.

Napoleon Dynamite is pretty good. No, it's not a ripoff movie, but probably many of us out there identify and sympathize with Napoleon. Interestingly it was set in Iowa. Enuff said. Merry Christmas y'll.

Early this morning was a very eventful time. I would say it's Dominion Heights' parting Christmas gift to me as I will be moving to Sacramento from Fresno. It is either a guest else a resident here in Dominion Heights, possibly drunk or just being full of life, was strutting around naked with his Budweiser beer. Yes naked, well I think he had shoes on. Slim caucasian blonde guy. My window is facing the walkways which are built to snake around the houses, else it is trees and grassy land. Anyway, so he walks up to my window, because I was awake, working on my computer and also because my blinds were up.

Anyway, if you are from a conservative background, this would of course leave you scarred for life and a major culture shock. What I did the first time around when he came was clap and told him not to catch a cold. Honestly I should have asked if he was going to go out to find some babes and I would have gone out with him and his buddy (it was 130 am and I was horny). By the way his buddy was fully clothed and was laughing quite a bit. Pretty cool guys I think. He actually came back around say 5 minutes later to parade again because of my "receptiveness" (it was kinda gross and funny at the same time...) and we talked a little. His buddy came close this time with a camera phone to take a picture of my reaction and of Bambi (my cat). Bambi was freaked out, got all puffy furred but didn't hiss or flinch. Good brave girl! She probably wasn't afraid because she knew that as long as I was around and not flinch, she wasn't in great danger, but she was quite freaked out.

My only regret: I should have also taken pictures of the guy and his buddy, and I should have asked his name so that I could post here... the spectacular event that happened.

Merry Christmas y'll. Yes I am sure you are aware that Christmas, Easter, etc have pagan origins, but still I guess it's a standard day in which we reference to it to mark the "special" occasion. Nothing much... had a good office starter set as my Christmas present. That's good especially after Hurricane Katrina took all my good stuff stationaries. Had good food last night... home made Tandoori chicken, Basmati rice mix and stir fried lettuce. Scrumptious! Looking for a new apartment to move to. Gotta move on in life.

It is almost heart wrenching that I almost decided to "end" Bambi's life, though not my intention. Due to my stay in my sister's house, where she has 2 dogs, Bambi my cat cannot stay here and she is in the kennel. Financially I would say I'm not too much in position to pay for her $15/day stay at the pet inn. And if I gave her up to the humane society, there is no guarantee that she can be adopted away, and for how long she will be permitted to stay in the adoption list, before she is euthanized. I guess this is the curse of being domesticated.

Although she has a link to my ex-gf, which if I got rid of
Bambi would for sure sever any remaining ties with my ex, Bambi is still an innocent and cute pet cat which I honestly think that I cannot let go of. She may be a stray when I first got her with my ex, but I have given her the chance to survive her hernia, the life of a stray, and Hurricane Katrina. It's not vengeance that I seek by putting her to the humane society, it's the cost. Anyway good news is that I've decided to keep her, so she'll be at the kennel / cattery till I get my place in Jan 14th and she can stay with me once again. I feel bad putting her there already as it is since Dec 24th.

Bambi, I refuse to let you be adopted away, be an orphan / euthanized and even more so be an item of revenge or dispute as a human child would face in a "divorce". Though you will probably not see mummy again (Fabiola) at least you will have me daddy who loves you very very much.

Gong He Fatt Choi! Year of the dog... hmm I know of someone who's the year of the dog.. aha I caught you Chooi-Yuit! I know I'm late, haven't typed here in a while... I should though as I know my childhood memories are starting to leak away. Sent a large 2 foot bear with balloons to Fabiola, we're back together. I ordered it fro FTD to Be delivered on Sunday, FTD and their affiliate promised that it will get there on Sunday and I was impressed that they did! Why I am impressed is because Montreal is known for it's crappy customer service. Also it was delivered Sunday Feb 12th instead of 14th because that was the only time a guaranteed delivery to the recipient (Fabiola). Other days she wont be home and will totally miss it, and also I guess Val's day will be busy busy busy for delivery and flower shops.

She claims that she was asking me something on yahoo messenger and that I logged off on her... I'm like hello, you disappeared after getting all worked up about the pictures... a whole month we had not communicated online until recently we were emailing and I had asked her if she would be home on Sunday for the delivery. Anyways as usual I guess she twists the stories so that I'm the guilty party. But hey, I'm a sucker for mushy love.

Well, it's been a while since I've written, I'd better check and see what I have covered and what I haven't. Ok Pretty much covered all the basics. Anyway working with Caltrans (California State Dept. of Transportation) now woo hoo!! Best thing is I don't have to drive downtown because the place that I stay I just need to drive 3.2 miles and I can hop onto the light rail which takes me just behind my office. It takes about 20 - 26 mins and I'm there at the back door entrance of my office building.

Besides that well, nothing much just busy with my weekend as usual with chores, laundry, and getting grocery. I saw a very good abs exercise on tv this morning which I tried this morning and I will maintain and do for all my mornings. I want to go get a bicycle so I can cycle more. Well,nothing else besides that.

Started my morning routine of jogging and I'll try to be as strict as I can with my diet. Yeah, gotta take care of my health. Gotta look like a real 26 / 27 year old. I am totally crazy about the song Bad Day by Daniel Powter. It is indeed the song for a Bad Day and the sad song you sing just to turn it around. Anyway, I love the video, I like the song itself also. I think it is highly synonymous with the current generation's plight of a busy work life, having bad days and being single. I love the video because it shows how desperately lonely we are as human beings. The again I'm a sucker for mushy love / romantic scenes. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy (I know some of you are rolling your eyes and / or puking already) plus it made me miss my girlfriend a lot more.

The funny thing is that I remember that I had begun writing this blog yesterday, but I must have gotten carried away with other things and ended up not saving / posting it. Anyway, the summer is here... it's hot... very hot even more so being in Missouri, a Midwest state. Well at least the swimming pool is slated to open today / Memorial day on Monday. Finally a mini holiday, long weekend Memorial day. To the US troops, I feel bad that you are sent into harms way and most of the time for stupid reasons and unfounded / baseless political decisions.

Anyway I definitely know what I wanted to write here. It's about the reasons why a guy's p*nis should be cut off. Yes, and this is coming from a guy saying this. Firstly, if you are going to cheat on your spouse or significant other, it's either going to drop off from getting cut by your spouse else it's going to drop off anyway from STDs (pun intended).

Secondly, Goddammit... why can't guys aim f*cking properly into the freakin' toilet bowl and leave Goddamn stains??? Even if you do it doesn't hurt to get a tissue and wipe it clean. It doesn't even take as much calories and complexity of muscle coordination to smile, as to grab a tissue and wipe your stupid yellow spot.

Yeah cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen is what defines my life. Sad as it may be, but I seriously look down on people who make a mess of these two places. Even more than ever since now I can afford to stay on my own that it makes sense to not share your dwelling with room mates who are filthy zoo animals. I don't discriminate etc, but come on, this is basic cleanliness 101...

Anyway enough of that. I can't wait to hit the swimming pool today if they are open. Woo hoo. Also recently, about a week ago I went to the St Louis Zoo... admission is free... parking is $9 but everyone parks around the St. Louis's World's Fair and it's been there (the site and some buildings) since 1904 :O can you imagine? 102 years ago... the aviary has been there since then.

Inherited a bunch of stuff from my neighbor. Yee haww!!

His name is Bob... I helped him while he was in need, he's about 55, had injured himself form a bicycle accident and had crutches, it was laundry day and he needed to go up the stairs with a laundry basket :( Poor guy. Anyway he's all healed and strong now, and he recently got a permanent job (a.k.a. non-contract type work) in Connecticut. Good for him... he's 1000 miles away from Massachussetts where his young wife is living in their house. Same case here with me doing the long distance relationship with Fabiola.

Anyway good stuff that I have received... dining table, exercise weights, deck chairs and 2 rose bushes, comfy recliner chair, 2 tv's, stand lamps, almost the works, a single sized bed (was sleeping on a queen sized air bed for the last 2 months).

Anyway the title of my blog... Friday was a crazy hectic day... I played not only as ETS tech support bridge person but also as the contact and coordinator for ETS and other tech support issues between AT&T and Amdocs... phew.. boy was I running around that day. And with that my software development schedule was put aside, because as usual, customer satisfaction comes 1st... so I spent Saturday and Sunday catching up with the programming / coding work.. actually went into office today, just now, from 730 pm - 1020 pm on a Sunday night :-O not nice at all. I expect a quiter Monday... though I'll be on tech support systems integration on Monday.

No relaxation at all for this weekend. Sucks. Anyway enough whining.

Things are getting on OK... more comfortable with the technology I'm programming in XSL and my daily job duties. Fuel prices almost hitting up high at USD 2.99 / gallon. My car is a Honda Accord LX 1992, bought it at 151,000 miles.

Currently as of today it's about 155,000 +++ miles on it. I use the lowest grade, Philips 66 mostly, has 10% ethanol, Maryland Heights, Missouri is very hilly and I use the fuel additive octane boosters. When given the chance going downhill I free my gear and let my engine idle and "get a free ride down".

For those of you looking for some actual running statistical information, here's some. Sorry for the inconsistency (like missing initial dates), as I slowly realize that frequency of how often I put gas in is also important.

I guess you could say this is the roses which represent my love for my daughters (Bambi and Spooki) and for my soul mate. You may notice Bambi's busy body near the roses. Sadly the other rose bush is givng up and dying. Ah well, I'm happy this other one is thriving.

Well besides that things are going quite well I think. It was a chilly day, however the sights and color of Fall of 2006 was really beautiful... to bad it wasn't warmer for me to enjoy it. Still, it's very beautiful to look at. Probably today if the weather permits I'll try to gather some fire wood and try out that chimney which comes with my 1 bed room apartment and see how good / efficient it is.

Oh yeah I got a free Charcoal Barbecue grill to try out and it's awesome! I actually baked a frozen pizza in it and it tasted super; crispy crust, top wasn't dry at all and it didn't burn the bottom. Also made 2 baked potatoes. I had it sit on a heavy duty aluminum foil, and covered it with the barbecue grill cover, bottom ventilation hole fully open and top was open very very little. Maybe this weekend I'll try to grill more stuff, maybe some portabello mushrooms, corm, a variety of capsicum / peppers. Hmm maybe some smores too!

I have not blogged in a while.. lazy + busy. Probably a few of you may already know this but I've always been having the realization of what nature is doing to us... marriage is a facade for us to exclusively have sex... what is the objective of marriage? Nothing more than procreating and doing the hunky chunky "wild thang".

Anyway... also another thing to rant about is the mediocre life and daily life so bourgeois ... we have kids, they learn, grow up,  work work work have kids, then die. Nah I dunno just kinda feeling sad for the human life in general. Dunno if that shows the quality of my life, quality of thinking or that I see life in such a manner. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy as an individual and my income...

I guess I feel there is so much more work and charity that I can do to help mankind. Also just a reality check I'm no Buddha ha ha ha! Another interesting topic which I had talked to my parents recently... that kindness and charity need not come from someone who is religious... it comes from the heart. You do not need religion (or any other reason), an institution of Man in focus of the "divine" that teaches you to be good and charitable to provide charity.

You can donate as much $ as you can, but $ cannot buy you blood... so I donate blood. I challenge and dare you who are physically fit, who qualify and able to, should donate blood. Because $ can buy you clothes and the basic necessity, however it cannot buy you blood. This is not counting that yeah you can spend and pay the hospital for blood, but the sense that even the rich, the ugly the pretty etc, if you ever go for surgery or if you get into an accident and need transfusion... you will start thinking and be touched by the lives of those who are brave enough and physically capable of giving blood who have saved your life in general.

Think about that long and hard my friends. I may never know who received my blood, but all I know is that I've saved someone's life... infact 3 people's life by just 1 donation.

There was more that I wanted to write about... well the other thing I have in mind is that it's time for me to hunt for another job... current place I don't feel appreciated... trust me. Time to tell them buh byee as soon as I secure my next "gig".

It snowed lightly this morning. It was beautiful. Yesterday evening and the day before there were strong winds... tornado in Alabama state and an area in Missouri... 12 year old girl passed away. Seems to me that her in US they prefer to use the word died instead of passed away... probably if you use passed away, it would be considered classic / British English / very refined way of speaking English.

Anyway, here I am in freakin' office. Why the hell, WTF??? Damn I've gotta go get myself a new job. With one career, M - F, 8am - 530pm / 6pm. My current place they work hard and work dumb... why the hell should I be subjected to this and even more so that I am not trained in this profession. Also I seriously feel under appreciated, no recognition of the things that I do.

Enough whining, time to job search and move on from here and tell them "up yours". Trying to write an interesting novel based on real life experiences. Will update it as i make more pages and more progress.

Oh yeah and as a side income, damn I found a very good software and market... FOREX, you guys and girls should consider looking into it; talk to your financial adviser / investor and look into FOREX investing... make sure they are familiar with it and the people who do the FOREX trading for you know what they are doing and not losing the money on bad trades.

Spring is here... I am actually wearing shorts and t-shirt woo hoo! Not to say that I didn't have a blast in winter. It was a welcome cool down from the summer.

Anyway, what's up with stock quotes and rogue replies to postings and techno-bable type replies.

Well, you do what you can and report them. Wish I were better in hacking and I would freakin' hack and destroy those auto spamming servers. Same goes for those chat bots in yahoo chat, though I have not been into Y Chat in a long long time.

Enough bitching... time to move on and be happy. Not that I'm not happy... could be happier.

No no not me haw haw haw! Well then again maybe. Last weekend was my brother's wedding... flew all the way into San Gabriel, California and stayed in a Hilton. Wow a Hilton... so does that mean I was in Hilton ha ha ha!

Anyway, the coffee maker was not working... and they didn't replace it as fast as I hoped that they would... I flew in with a major headache... threw up in the hotel (hey I thought that the Groom / Bride were the ones who were more nervous wreck and did that... not me the guest...). that happens when the headache is that severe.

It's more my fault... multiple reasons... I did the same stupid partial ab-crunch exercise and had strained my neck muscle and I didn't get enough sleep the day before traveling resulting in that massive headache.

With all that said and done... pictures please :D

Total Cholesterol 188 with good HDL 41 (norm >= 40mg/dL), Bad LDL 111 (norm <= 130mg/dL) though the triglycerides are a little high 180 (recommended < 150).

So oatmeal and diet really does play a huge role especially when you do not have "good genes" and have fairly history of high cholesterol. I've been more or less vegetarian 90%++ The only time I eat meat was when I ate out. So from 2005 blood donation I saw my cholesterol go from 211 to 219 that's when I said ok that's it... it's veggie time.

For nearly 2 years I didn't go and get my blood checked... and so I finally did last month and viola! I am in pretty good shape; passed the physical, blood result is in good shape except for the triglycerides... now I need to do something about my body weight and toning it .

Anyway so much for that. Time to get my chores done. I have a huge list of things to do and look into. *Sigh*

Guess I'm too old to play any April Fool's day jokes... was fun when it lasted and when we were young. But here I am... many years later with so much things to do... I need to do them faster / more efficiently. Anyway the sooner I'm done with my chore list the happier I am. Need to utilize my time better. *Sigh* anyway... yesterday got hammered with the support call. Damn... we're seriously understaffed. I gotta get my but outta this line of work.
